Happy Birthday!!

I had all intention of writing out a 'great post' and being reflective...but I am honestly tired from a LONG day of logistics. Leading a team is hard work...a lot of energy is required to keep up with everything. It is 11PM...I have been going since 6:30AM. I am about to go to bed, but I did want to acknowledge the day of celebration.

Ten years ago today I became a follower of Christ. It has been an incredible journey-understatement. There are a handful of people who have walked this journey with me from the beginning. The fact I still have relationships with those folks proves to me the beauty of the body of Christ and the work of the Spirit...fellowship, friendship, family. I also am blessed to continually have God bringing people into my life to teach, encourage, challenge me. I am grateful, to say the least. Hallelujah!!

Today one of the team members, Trea, has resigned from the team. He is no longer going to Peru with us, so the team to Peru is holding strong at 9 folks. We also split the bigger group up into 4 smaller teams. Those smaller teams will work closely in the villages- apart from the rest of the team mates... We all will regroup once a month, but that is going to be strange. Pray for those smaller teams- bonding, communicating, working together... and for us as one big team.

I think of you SWO folks quite often- another understatement! I am blessed with the relationships I have with y'all- I mean that. Heading home soon to make my rounds and then the countdown to Peru is closing in on only a month left to go!
