- As many of you know, I have been working at a hospital since September of this year. I am still learning each day and a supportive group of co-workers. I daily interface with a diverse group of people. They are easy to love. I am specifically asking God to lead some of my co-workers to Himself and that He would give me wisdom in sharing my hope of Christ with them.
- A couple of weeks ago, several refugee families from Southeast Asia immigrated to Winston-Salem. Through the partnership of my local church, I had the privilege of welcoming them here. Last week, my friend, Megan, and I greeted the families at the airport. Each family carried woven bags, no larger than a standard suitcase, with all of their belongings. They are learning English quite well through ESL classes at church. They don't have a lot of material things, but they have been gracious to share what they do have. If you want more details, it is much more exciting to call me. Pray that God would draw them to His Son, Jesus.
Asia:
I am going to Asia this summer for a few days with friends from church! I am so excited to see what the Lord does! Pray for us to love the people we are being sent to and that God would draw them to Jesus.
Journeyman:
Pray as the Spirit guides you to pray for me.
Blessed be the name of the Lord
from this time forth and forevermore!
From the rising of the sun to its setting,
the Name of the Lord is to be praised!

Lena,
Thanks for your post! I am excited that you get to go to Asia this summer. How long will you be gone for and when are you going?
In addition, why did the refugees come here from Asia?
In Christ,
Jenn Forchetti
