During the time that Maridith was in South America, a good friend of mine came to keep me company. We had a chance to get caught up on what all God has been doing in our lives. It was about this time that the extreme team had their yearly meeting. I was sad that I could not be there con los hermanos but my spirit was with them. This was a rich time for everyone involved. I rejoiced to hear a good report form Lorne (LJ) upon his return. I will ask for prayers for Efrain he is now in Colombia visiting his church and family while raising support. He will be back in Bolivia teaching and helping establish a church in the Quechua community that he has been with for several trips now. He has seen the spirit work in an amazing way there in Bolivia and we praise God for this.
As soon a Mairdith got back into the country there was no time to rest. We were back in school with mid-teams. That next weekend we went to Atlanta and made our first attempt at meeting with the French consulate for our visas. We were unsuccessful and will reschedule our appointments for May. Please pray that we can get out student visas in process in May and that we will have them in hand by August.
The very next weekend we were approached to go to Pleasant View Baptist in Royston, GA to speak at their D-Now weekend. Even though it was short notice we were excited to have this opportunity and work again with my friend Caleb Atkins. Caleb is the youth pastor there. The weekend was great and I was honored to spend time with the whole Atkins family. This is a very special family and we were honored to stay at their house. The weekend was amazing. We praise God for such a full and blessed weekend.
The last weekend in March was something of a Godsend. We had the pleasure to help with a youth rally weekend in Canton, NC at Dutch Cove Baptist church. This is a very special church. And the time with Dutch Cove was very encouraging to both Maridith and I. We are looking to being back with Dutch Cove in the future.
This wraps up March, and now Maridith and I both are in Honduras. We are doing great and loving each day. Keep a look out for an update for all that God has done with the Hillside and Faith groups.
